Ilkley provided the shock of the round in the Waddilove Cup with a 19 run win over Skipton in which young bowler David Wigley starred for a second day running.

Wigley took 4-56 as Skipton were put out for 130 in reply to Ilkley's 149 all out. This was despite a half-century from Mark Whitaker.

Guiseley were unable to find their best batting form when they faced newly promoted Calverley and were dismissed for 117 as Neil Waite took 6-33.

Guiseley were then unable to turn the screw with eight Calverley wickets down and Calverley limped home to grab a third round place.

Excellent bowling by Steeton's C Taylor set them up for a four wickets win over Alwoodley. He took 6-53 well backed up by Australian Matthew Pinniger who took 3-39.
