The family of missing Guiseley man Jonathan Danskin said today their hopes of finding him alive had been strengthened by the response to a TV appeal.
The 28-year-old, pictured above, vanished on January 31 after running into the River Wharfe after his car was stopped by police.
His mother, Winifred Danskin, said the National Missing Persons' Helpline had received four calls after he was featured on Yorkshire TV's Missing programme.
The appeal for information was made by Mr Danskin's sister, Julia Wellington, 34, and friend Mark Ledgard.
Mrs Danskin said: "After the programme they had four phone calls about possible sightings, including one from the Bradford area and another from Nottingham.
"Jono used to go fishing down at Newark so it's possible he could be in that area.
"We've always had hope but this has given us a fresh boost and we're hoping he'll soon be home.''
