Keighley-based PS Turner Constructions has teamed up with David Lloyd Leisure in a £6.5 million project to design and build a new leisure and fitness centre in Derby.
The newly opened club is the third completed by Turner Constructions, part of the Allen Group, demonstrating the company's successful track record in the leisure sector, and its commitment to working in partnership with its clients.
Similar contracts have been completed in Cheadle, near Stockport, and Solihull in the West Midlands.
Located on seven acres of reclaimed land in Pride Park, the complex features seven indoor tennis courts, a state of the art two storey fitness block, luxurious reception, bar and relaxation area. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and extensive parking. The fast track programme took 40 weeks to complete.
Turner Constructions managing director Mike Wormald said: "As a company, we continue to enjoy an excellent working relationship with David Lloyd Centres. The success of the Derby project was very much based on co-operation, teamwork and extensive experience in this sector."
