City have vehemently denied a report in a national newspaper that the players have organised a premature promotion party on Sunday.
City would be promoted if they beat Oxford on Saturday and Ipswich lose at Birmingham, but managing director Shaun Harvey stressed: "The players have not organised a party and will not be organising anything for Sunday."
