Bradford Bulls have received good news about forward Steve McNamara who was placed on report during Monday's thrilling 18-18 draw at Castleford.

The rugby league authorities have decided that McNamara has no case to answer over an alleged high tackle on Tigers full-back Jason Flowers.

But Bulls coach Matthew Elliott has been asked by the RFL to explain comments made after the Castleford clash

In post-match interviews, Elliott accused Tigers' forward Lee Harland of feigning injury in order to get Bulls prop forward Paul Anderson sent off.

Anderson was dismissed for alleged use of the elbow, and he appears before a disciplinary committee at Leeds tonight.

Meanwhile the Bulls expect to learn today the extent of Danny Peacock's knee injury after the Aussie centre has a scan.

Peacock was carried off the field at Wheldon Road after falling awkwardly as he attempted a tackle.

But fears that the 31-year-old player may have suffered a recurrence of knee ligament eased yesterday when Elliott revealed there was no major structural damage.

However there are still concerns of cartilage trouble and his future still remains in the balance.

Elliott said: "All our thoughts are with Danny at this stage. It is typical of the man that he was more concerned about letting in the try than he was about the injury."

Hooker James Lowes, who limped off the field at Castleford after his ankle was stamped on, reported fit yesterday and is expected tobe fit to face struggling Salford Reds at Odsal on Sunday.

Tickets are on sale at Odsal from Thursday at noon for their next away match at Gateshead Thunder on Sunday, May 16.

The Bulls are offering tickets at special rates for families, adults, children, students and OAPs.

There is also a quid-a-kid scheme available on pre-booked parties with a minimum of ten children and one adult with the adult admitted free for every ten children in the party.

The tickets for this scheme must be bought in advance from Odsal.
