They're Coming Home - in style.

It will be the Parade of the century as victorious City players and officials take an open top bus from Keighley to the city tomorrow night.

Thousands of fans are expected to line the route to cheer on their heroes, with thousands more gathering in Centenary Square.

The players will then appear - no doubt to a deafening roar - on the steps of City Hall to acknowledge the support of their adoring fans.

They will then go into City Hall where the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress will host a huge Civic reception to congratulate the club on their incredible success.

Sergeant Owen West of Bradford police said: "The city has waited a long, long time for this to happen - we are fully aware of that and fully aware of the exuberance that will come out, where possible we will accommodate that. We don't want the celebrations marred by any incidents.

"We will have extra officers on for the civic reception. Bradford will not have seen scenes like that for a long time, thousands will be in the city centre and we will be there to ensure public safety and make sure everyone gets to where they need to."

Bradford City Managing Director Shaun Harvey said: "We are delighted that the open top tour will start in Keighley at Cougar Park and take in some of the outlying districts where we have support.

"I expect the scenes in Centenary Square at 8pm and along the route to be spectacular."

And Paul Jewell, the happiest manager in the country, said: "The supporters have been an integral part of the club's success this season and we hope to be able to thank all of them en route and at the game at Valley Parade on Thursday, May 13 against John Hendrie's Invitation XI."
