Rugby Union: Wharfedale welcome back their former colt George Smithson in their home match against Nottingham tomorrow.

The Skipton full back, who will make his Jewson National League One debut on the left wing, was at Grassington as a 16 and 17-year-old.

The rest of the Dalesmen's line-up has a well-tried look about it - especially the pack, who have over 550 league appearances between them.

Otley have re-signed winger Mark Kirkby from Bedford, and he goes straight into their side at Bracknell, promoted from Jewson Two South last season.

The Cross Greeners have signed 12 other players during the close season, but the only debutantes are prop Ronnie Kelly from Harrogate and flanker Jonathan Skurr from Wakefield.

However, three other newcomers - prop Dean Hardcastle from Wakefield, lock Peter Curtis from Newbury and scrum half Jeremy Tiffen from Morley -- are on the bench.

Bradford and Bingley's club fixture away to a Leeds Development XV has been called off by the home side - the Bees will have a training session instead - but Bradford Salem have a training match at home to Roundhegians.
