Fans are flocking to Odsal to buy tickets for Bradford Bulls match of the season against Leeds Rhinos next Friday.

The Bulls' ambition is to break the Super League record crowd of 21,666 at the eagerly awaited clash with their West Yorkshire rivals.

So far they are nearly halfway there with 10,000 tickets sold, but the few remaining stand tickets are selling quickly and media manager Stuart Duffy urges fans to make sure of their stand seat to avoid disappointment.

The match is not all-ticket, but the Bulls are encouraging non-season ticket holders to buy tickets in advance.

This not only means supporters are guaranteed a place in the crowd for one of the big Super League occasions of the season, but it will ease congestion on the night.

The Bulls ticket office was open until 8.30 last night and Duffy said the club will consider other late night openings if the demand warrants it.

Besides the thrilling action on the field, the Bulls, who are famed for their pre-match and half-time entertainment, have put together a special package for the big occasion.

There will be a Western theme before the match and the popular Irish Dancers will entertain at half-time.

First Bradford are also supporting the big match by running a free bus service from the city centre.

Bradford Bulls Alliance team, containing several first team squad players, beat Huddersfield Giants 22-14 at Odsal last night. Try scorers were Phil Howlett, Lee Radford and Craig Horne. Paul Sykes kicked three goals.
