A GROUND-BREAKING youth club in Ilkley is appealing for people to lend a hand in joining its new project.

The Warehouse Youth Club on Little Lane has set up a 'mixed abilities' night on Mondays and would like to hear from anyone who would be interested in helping out as a volunteer or in joining in.

Exciting activities organised by the club include town orienteering, arts and crafts, and canoeing, and volunteers could be in with a chance of doing part of the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme.

Now the club is hoping to raise awareness of the mixed night through a special 'Hawaiian evening', with a dance and a barbecue next Monday, August 23, from 7.30pm. Anyone who is interested can telephone the club on 817824.
