Moves are under way to make an accident blackspot safer - following yet another accident this week.
Cononley parish council called for measures to improve Cononley Lane End, where a woman died three weeks ago.
Soon after the accident Highways Agency bosses vowed to enlist a consultant to design a solution.
At last week's meeting, Cononley councillors expressed concern that work had not yet begun to make the junction - with the main Keighley-Skipton road - safer.
But a spokesman from the Highways Agency pledges that plans have been set in motion.
He says: "We will be meeting with the parish council in October to consider a package of proposed safety measures."
Plans would go to the public consultation stage if ideas are approved at October's meeting.
In the latest accident, around 10.37pm on Tuesday, a teenager was seriously injured after a Vauxhall Nova was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra.
