FOUR clubs have applied to be included in the Airedale and Wharfedale League's new Third Division when it gets underway next season.
Originally ten clubs were elected at the special meeting but since then Old Modernians have withdrawn.
At the League Council Meeting at the end of October member clubs will be asked to vote on whether to increase the number to 12 or not.
The four clubs who have applied are Ben Rhydding, Cookridge, Olicanians and Thackley.
Three clubs have also applied to join the Third Teams Section in Otley, Colton and Kirkstall. Otley's third team has been playing in the Dales Council League.
