Grattan League: It's tight at the top of the Second Division. Three teams are on the same points and two have the same goal difference, but Eccleshill SSC head the division, having scored three more goals than One In Twelve.

Eccleshill's 7-0 victory over Cross Keys was a big help, the leaders going ahead in the first minute through Graham Firth, who is in his second spell at the club.

Darren Oughtibridge scored in the sixth minute, man of the match Firth making it 3-0 with a well-taken free kick after 20 minutes. Floyd Philps' two goals in ten minutes stretched the lead to 5-0 by half-time, Dave O'Neal rounding things off with two more in the final ten minutes.

One In Twelve kept up the pressure with a fine 5-2 success against West Park, Mustan Ali scoring two for the winners in a match where all the goals came in the first half.

Baildon - the third unbeaten team - had a scare against Rafters in a hard-fought clash. The third-placed side went 1-0 down before winning 2-1.

Strachans moved off the bottom after a 9-2 thrashing of Bradford Deaf, three players bagging hat-tricks.

Champions Woodend Rangers missed a golden chance to beat Premier Division leaders Fagley. Paul Hickey and Phil Clapham were on target for Fagley, Ray garland and gavin Collins replying, but Collins also missed a penalty.

Lexicon were behind twice against Ryecroft Rangers, but notched a dramatic 4-3 victory with a 35-yard shot in injury time from Tony Quinn. Martin Kemp, Andrew Wilson and Nigel Barraclough scored the other goals for Lexicon, who moved up to third. Scot Suddard, Tim McLoughlin and Richard Hollis netted for Rangers, who led 2-1 and 3-2 but found the Lexicon goalkeeper in great form.

Craig Haywood was another goalkeeper in hot mood, and he helped Victoria notch their first win of the season. They beat Hudsons, still without a victory, 4-2.

Smiling Mule, down to ten men because of injuries, stayed top of the First Division after beating Brook hansen 3-2. Rob Scott gave Hansen a shock lead, but Ben cahill scored either side of half-time for Mule.

Their third was an own goal, Dave Scott pulling one back for Hansen.

Old Kings head climbed to second placed after beating Gallopers 5-0. Matthew Speed scored two, others coming from an excellent Luke Ellis free kick, Joel Ellis and Dominic Shack. Steve Elphee saved yet another penalty for Kings Head in the dying minutes.
