Bradford City's transfer listed Jamaican defender Darren Moore is battling to be fit to face Dwight Yorke in a friendly international against Trinidad and Tobago.

Moore is currently nursing a hamstring injury which has ruled him out of tonight's FA Premier Reserve League match against Blackburn Rovers at Valley Parade (7pm) and admits his chance of playing for Jamaica hangs in the balance.

Moore has only figured in the first team once this season against Reading in the Worth-ington Cup but has still earned international selection.

He said: "International football gives you the chance to play against world class strikers and Dwight Yorke is among the best.

"I have played three times for Jamaica and it's been a great experience.

"It would be fantastic to play against Yorke and see what he is all about, but I have got to wait until the end of the week.

"I have been training all season, but I picked up a bit of a strain last week. I am hoping to get back into training and declare myself fit. It all hangs in the balance."

City manager Paul Jewell said: "Darren has got a hamstring strain. He can't go to Jamaica if he isn't fit. We will have to see how he is."

City's other four injured players are all making progress.

Midfield player Neil Redfearn, who has been nursing an ankle injury for nearly a fortnight, is back in training and Jewell said he was close to being fit for the reserve match.

The three long-term injured players, Lee Sharpe, Isaiah Rankin and Jamie Lawrence, are also progressing.

Sharpe has been out of action all season with ankle ligament trouble but had an injection on Monday and is feeling a lot better.

Lawrence is back in light training as he recovers from a double hernia operation.

City are anxious not to rush Rankin back too quickly as he has already suffered two hamstring injuries this season.

He is progressing well but Jewell wants to be sure he is fully recovered before playing him again.

The club have reduced their admission prices for the Worthington Cup third round tie against Barnsley at Valley Parade on Tuesday, October 12.

Adult prices in the Sunwin, Ciba and Carlsberg Stands are £13, pensioners, £7 and under-16s, £1.

All sections of the ground will be open.Tickets are on sale now.

New French striker Bruno Rodriguez is included in a strong reserve team tonight.

City Reserves: Clarke, Wright, West-wood, Bower, Jacobs, kerr, Dreyer, Grant, Patterson, Windass,Rodriguez. Subs to be announced.
