Bradford Bulls' young army of fans will be able to watch their heroes play away from home for free next season - if they buy a season ticket for the Millennium campaign.

The ground-breaking deal has been thrashed out between all Super League clubs for next season and with ground tickets for juniors costing just £10, it represents a huge saving for 28 league games.

Season tickets are now on sale at Odsal with discounts available until December 30 to watch a side who finished last season in pole position only to lose out in a gripping Grand Final against St Helens.

Bulls' media manager Stuart Duffy said: "Kids are the future of rugby league so we are delighted that all Super League clubs have agreed to participate in the scheme. It is a first for the sport.

"We have worked very hard at Bradford to encourage the younger supporters to come along and support the Bulls.

"The £10 junior season tickets for Under-16s are available when an adult ticket is purchased at the same time and represents a great deal with kids getting in to 28 Super League games for less than 40p per time."

In addition to the free entry to away games for all junior season ticket holders, family packages will be available for the coming campaign.

The Bulls had 8,000 season ticket holders in 1999 and Duffy is hoping the club can go on and beat that total.

He said: "The potential which was evident at Odsal for the Leeds game late in the season where we beat the Super League record, shows that Bradford is ready to embrace Super League.

"We also took 20,000 fans to Old Trafford for the Grand Final which was a tremendous response from fans within the city.

"We will have some exciting new faces in the squad for next season and young players such as Leon Pryce, Stuart Fielden and Paul Deacon can only improve as they get older.

"Fans who buy their season tickets are also helping our coach Matthew Elliott in his bid to build a side to go one better in 2000."

Ground admission for adults next season will be £10 per game with concessions priced at £5. Seats in the stand will cost £13.50 (concessions £7).

Duffy added: "Season ticket holders will also receive a book of vouchers which will entitle them to discounts at around 200 local shops."

Anyone requiring further information is asked to contact the club on (01274) 733899.

COACH Matthew Elliott and his coaching staff are to go on a fact-finding mission to the Denver Broncos NFL side in December. The trip has been arranged through the Bulls nutritional sponsors EAS who also back the American giants.
