Talented artists at Greenhead School, Keighley, are flying high after receiving praise for stained glass window designs bound for an international airport.

Art students in Year Nine submitted designs for the new multi-faith prayer room, being built at Manchester Airport.

And judges at the airport were so impressed by the designs that they have invited a group of students to attend the grand opening of the new room next month.

Designing stained glass windows is nothing new to students at Greenhead, who provided the artistic inspiration behind the stained glass windows in the school's prayer room.

Art work by pupils in Years Nine, Ten and 11 was also selected for display in Keighley College's new art factory, opened recently by Simon Beaufoy, writer of the film The Full Monty.
