A Bingley vicar is claiming a theological scoop after his church Holy Trinity - God's official name - was given its own web site.
Reverend Andrew Clarke set up the website a week ago and is looking forward to www.holytrinity.com becoming a hit with a potential audience of 400 million worldwide.
He joked: "I'm wondering if a voice from heaven will say: 'That's my name!' I think we are the only church with its own website in Bingley. It's a little bit of a coup.
"Although we only have basic details of the church's activities over Christmas and New Year, I am hoping we can extend that in the future.
"It's a way of spreading the word so people can look us up though we have not received any e-mails yet."
