Bradford Park Avenue face their first visit to UniBond Division One newcomers Ossett Town tomorrow and manager Trevor Storton knows it will be a difficult fixture.

Storton's side are fourth while Town are 19th. But the Avenue boss warned: "They might be down there but they were one of the best teams we have played at home this season.

"We beat them 1-0, scraped through a bit to be fair. They are a good side and will be up for it at home.

"I can't see them being in the relegation battle - they will start picking up points soon and we have got to get on top of our game to make sure they don't start against us."

Skipper Wayne Benn and new signing Mark Wilson are both struggling to shake off flu and centre back Neil Bagshaw is also doubtful with a foot injury, but Clive Freeman is back in contention following suspension.

Eccleshill United will be hoping the Plumpton Park pitch is passed fit for the visit of Alfreton Town in the Northern Counties East Premier Division.

United have suffered two consecutive Saturday postponements and want to get back in full flow.

Striker Ian Heppinstall is ruled out with an ankle injury while midfielder Paul Newsome is rated doubtful with a sore back, but Neil Grist and Andy Sutcliffe return to the squad.

In the same division, Thackley follow Avenue to Ossett to take on reigning champions Albion. Manager Trevor Best includes defender Kevin Woodhead who signed from Eccleshill on Wednesday and Steve Warbur-ton who has recovered from injury.

Liversedge are also away and could draw level with second-placed Brigg Town if they win at the Lincolnshire side's Hawthornes ground. Centre back Andy Yates is out with a knee injury but Adam Goldthorpe is recalled.

Guiseley have an alteration to their UniBond Premier Division fixture with Lancastrians Bamber Bridge making the journey to Nethermoor.

With several injured men still on the comeback trail, manager Bobby Davison is only able to add striker Tony Agana to the squad even though his first team have not played since the 2-2 draw with Stalybridge Celtic on December 4.

Back in Division One, Farsley Celtic could make ground on rivals Avenue with a maximum three points from the visit of struggling Trafford. Farsley could only muster a goalless home draw against rock-bottom Whitley Bay last week while the Manchester outfit were earning a point at Harrogate Town.

Front runner Wes Freeman is back in contention following a dead leg injury while Alistair Long and Danny Ames return to the squad.
