Chris Hutchings admits that the Bradford City coaching staff are relishing the chance to pit their wits against "one of the best managers around" tomorrow.

The Bantams assistant boss is full of admiration for the success Newcastle chief Bobby Robson has enjoyed in both domestic and international football.

The 66-year-old steered England to a World Cup semi-final in 1990 and has won championships in Holland, Spain and Portugal as well as building a feared side at Ipswich.

Hutchings said: "You look at Bobby's career in coaching and there can't be many who have a better record. We will have to have our wits about us and be prepared for everything.

"He has turned their season around in recent weeks because they have started to get the wins under their belts."

Newcastle have employed a sweeper system in away games as Robson battled to turn results around following the exit of Rudd Gullit.

However sources in Newcastle suggest he may adopt a more attacking approach against a City side who are looking to climb further away from the bottom three.

City have just one major injury worry with Dean Windass battling to shrug off the ankle injury which kept him out of last week's FA Cup win at Crewe.

His return would be a huge boost for the Bantams, who are without in-form midfielder Neil Redfearn due to suspension.

The assistant boss knows that City must start picking up victories at home after picking up just one from their first seven Premiership outings at Valley Parade.

"It is disappointing to have the number of points we have but we have been playing quite well. We need to keep the belief. We want to start collecting the wins at home."
