Eccleshill will be away to the Ellesmere Port-based side Vauxhall in the fifth round of the FA Carlsberg Vase.

It is their third away draw in four rounds of the competition but, after their magnificent 4-3 win at London Colney in the fourth round on Saturday, Eccleshill are full of confidence.

Assistant manager David Hill said: "We played very well on Saturday and it could have been more. I thought the second half was as good as we have played all season.

"It is as good a draw as we could have expected at this stage of the competition.

"The last three teams we have played in the Vase we have had them watched and someone will be going to see Vauxhall play before we meet them. We have done our homework and it has paid off."

Secretary Ian Gardiner said: "Our progress in the Vase has exceeded our expectations. We have a good squad, a good spirit, and that has carried us forward as much as anything."

Vauxhall play in the North West Counties League First Division. The tie will be played on Saturday, February 12.

Bradford Alliance Premier Division club Albion Sports will also be travelling again if they win Sunday's fourth round replay against FC Houghton Centre from the Northern Home Counties League in the Umbro FA Sunday Cup.

The sides drew 2-2 after extra time in Sunday's match at Horsfall Stadium. The winners will visit Edwards Birmingham Celtic in the fifth round on Sunday, February 20.

The draws for the competitions and the Carslberg Pub Cup were made at Bradford City's Valley Parade yesterday with City striker Dean Saunders taking part.
