IT'S TIME to come back home and I think after what we have been put through most of the boys are looking forward to it.

It has been a while now since we have seen our families and we are beginning to miss the home comforts.

We have had a hectic schedule and we have really been put through our paces.

Our head conditioner Carl Jennings has worked us so hard in the gym that we have had to tone down some of the things that we had planned to do.

We have had two hard sessions every day and some of the lads were feeling sick! He's a really hard taskmaster is Jenno!

Mind you, we came here to push ourselves and get the best out of ourselves and that is what we have achieved.

There have been some lighter moments and on Wednesday we had a talent contest. There were four teams and the coaching staff certainly came in for some stick. Our team did a Jerry Springer Show sketch and it was a lot of fun.

We have really got to grips with the game plan, both on attack and defence and it will set us in good stead when the season starts. We have worked on tap penalties and scrums and other set pieces.

Everyone is really ready for a game now and we can't wait for a week on Sunday when we play Wakefield.

The whole trip has been a great success. Professionally it has been a tremendous exercise.

As players, we know what we have to do and Mattie and the rest of the coaching staff have pointed out to us what it means to be playing for the Bulls.

I am sure that when the season starts everyone - the players, the coaches and the supporters - will see the benefits of the hard work and effort that we have put in over the past week.
