FORMER journalist, Peter Rowe, is to be the new chief executive of Keighley Cougars.
The former Telegraph & Argus sports editor is returning to rugby league after a spell in the public relations department of the Football League.
He was also public relations chief at Rugby League's Red Hall headquareters for a time before joining the soccer headquarters staff based at Oxford.
He had been looking to return to be close to his wife's family since a staff reshuffle at the football HQ.
He will replace Abi Ekoku who is leaving Cougar Park to be chief executive of Bradford Bulls.
