Bradford Bulls are only second favourites to finish top of Super League this season despite finishing five points clear of the pack last term.

Matthew Elliott's men are a 100-30 shot with bookmakers William Hill to be on top of the table at the end of the weekly rounds in September.

But Wigan Warriors, who failed to win a trophy for the first time in 15 years last season, are the bookies' favourites under new coach Frank Endacott at 11-10.

Last season's Grand Final winners St Helens are ranked only fourth best at 15-2 behind Leeds Rhinos who are a 4-1 shot.

Salford are rank outsiders and favourites to land the wooden at 250-1.

Wigan are also classed as favourites for the Challenge Cup at 6-4 with the Bulls at 7-2.

Next year's Challenge Cup final will be held at Twickenham.

In a move that would have been unthinkable until recently, the Rugby Football League announced plans to stage the final on April 28 2001 at the home of rugby union.

The decision has been forced by plans to redevelop Wembley, the traditional home of the Challenge Cup final.

It will be the second year running that the final will not be at Wembley: the climax to this year's competition is being staged at Murrayfield, Edinburgh.
