Albion Sports play one of the biggest games in their two-decade history tomorrow.

Sports travel to the Midlands to meet Edwards Birmingham Celtic in the quarter-final of the FA Sunday Cup.

Albion are confident they can emulate Oakenshaw's feat of the early 1990s and reach the last four.

Albion's two heroes of their replay win at Luton in the last round - goalkeeper John Hawkes and young midfielder Amjad Iqbal - produced the goods again last Sunday when Albion reached the last eight of the County Cup at Monk-bridge.

Hawkes, who saved two vital penalties in the Luton shoot-out, saved another spot kick on Sunday.

Amjad, on a great scoring run, scored in both Luton ties and hit both his side's goals in the County Cup win.

The game at Sutton Coldfield kicks off at 2pm.

Apart from Albion, Bolton Woods are the Sunday All-iance's only other club left in the County Cup.

Woods bid to join Albion in the last eight when they play Leeds side Highwood Hotel.

After missing out on a Vase/FA Sunday Cup double with Eccleshill United and Woods, striker-cum-defender Gary Shaw is aiming for a county double.

Shaw was boosted in midweek by Eccleshill's unexpected win over Bradford Park Avenue in midweek.

Whetley Lane Vets have yet to play a match in the second stage of the FA Umbro Cup over 40s section after their home game against Old Ashtonians was postponed.

They go at Hull University on Sunday to play Sanderson Ford (2pm kick-off), a team comprising several former Hall Road players.
