Thermoplastic equipment manufacturer Chem Resist Europe has been single out for praise by Foreign Office Minister John Battle.
The Dewsbury company, which has a manufacturing operation based in Prague, received a pat on the back at the launch of an initiative to boost trade with Czech Republic.
Mr Battle said: "Chem Resist Europe is an excellent example of a British small to medium enterprise that has discovered the benefits of investing in overseas markets.
"Their decision to invest in the Czech Republic is also a good example of how British Trade International and a private sector company can work well together.
"In this particular case, the investment will help the company grow and in its own small way will make a positive contribution to both the Czech and UK economies."
