Sunday Alliance: Fairweather Green did their First Division promotion hopes a power of good with a 3-2 win over rivals Westwood to move two points behind leaders Craven Heifer.

It was Westwood who struck first through Lee Inness's 25-yard free kick. But Paul Exley equalised with a left-footed shot from a similar distance.

Green missed several good chances before Steve Pouch restored Westwood's lead before the interval.

But Green hit back, Steve Thompson making it 2-2. And as the game entered the final quarter player manager Adie Howard was on hand to clip home Sean Durkin's pass for the winner.

Already-promoted Eccleshill United need only two wins from six matches to take the Division 1A title.

Fountain were their latest victims, the best of the Eccleshill goals in a 6-1 romp coming from Jamie Buchan who took on the defence with a dazzling run.

Though Pudsey Royal looked favourites to follow Eccleshill, Undercliffe CC maintained their hopes with a 2-0 win over Quarry. Quarry missed several first-half chances and fell away after the break when the cricket club scored through Carl Roberts and a late penalty from Matt Preston.

Hare & Hounds took their Division 1B lead to eight points ahead of Springfield with a 2-1 win over much-improved Chellow. Mark Regan and Paul Yaxley put Hounds in the driving seat with Pat Crossan replying for Chellow in the second half.

Wyke Wanderers continued their assault on four trophies. Dave Moffatt, Stuart Helps and Craig Sheridan put them 3-0 up at Bangladeshi Youth in the fourth round of the Amateur Cup. Then Sheridan got a second to take them through to the semi-finals 4-0.

Calverley Victoria Reserves kept up their run to a promotion place in Division 2A. They came from behind after Paul Birrane had given A H Marks a first-half lead, Calverley running out 2-1 winners.

Eccleshill CC should be celebrating a first win of the season. But after taking the lead at Ring O'Bells, they conceded an equaliser and then lost to a penalty.

Albion Sports Reserves moved up to third place with a 3-0 win at Queensbury Reserves.

The only Division 2B game to beat the weather saw Chellow Reserves win 2-1 at home to Fagley. Dave Summerfield and Neil Krishan scored to lift them one place above their opponents.

Shoulder of Mutton took the points from the only Division 3A game.

Jamie Fowler (2) and Ryan Dennis had Crofts 3-1 up with 25 minutes to go but they lost their goalkeeper and had a man sent off before crashing to a 5-3 defeat. Lee Grice was the pick of the Shoulder forwards with a hat-trick. Alistair Nejad and Jed Murgatroyd got the others.

Wibsey WMC Reserves maintained their leadership of Division 3B though they fell behind to bottom club White Swan thanks to Zoltan Bisstuez.

Wibsey went 3-1 up but were pegged back to 3-2. Then White Swan won a penalty, which was saved only for a defender to put through his own goal. After the break Wibsey took command to win 5-2.

Holme Wood Athletic scored their 100th league goal through Rob Harrison who went on to score five against Odsal. Mark Warren added a hat-trick, Luke Wilcock scored two and Danny Keenan netted one in the 11-0 thrashing.

Idle stay second after a 2-1 win at George & Dragon who were leading through Sean Dixon.

Heaton United hammered Napoleon 10-0 to return to the top of Division 4A. Manzoor Hussain scored four, Asif Hussain got two and the rest came from Mohammed Aris, Janghir Hussain, Harnza Ali and Shaid Ashruff.

Heaton's nearest rivals Lithuanian Rovers slipped up at BMS Autocentres. Steve Garner and Paul Hickey made it 2-0 before Lithuanian got a consolation.

Harps International are still pushing for a promotion place. Matt Greenhoff netted twice and Mark Greenwood, Karl Simpson, Dave Cluer, Damian Hunter and Gareth Williams took them to a 7-1 win at Horncastle.

Jason Nicholl grabbed a hat-trick and Josh Stead added another to give Bradford Park Avenue Rangers a 4-0 win at Post Office Reserves.
