Guiseley's battle to retain their UniBond Premier Division status faces a stern test tomorrow when they face leaders Leigh RMI at Nethermoor.

Despite a fourth consecutive draw in midweek Guiseley are still just four places off the bottom and five points above the relegation trap-door.

Manager Bobby Davison has provisionally named skipper Des Hazel in the hope the midfielder will be back in time from World Cup duty with St Kitts and Nevis.

Bradford Park Avenue are still in with a chance of joining, or even replacing, their local rivals in the Premier Division. But after back-to-back home victories in Division One they face a tough trip to mid-table Chorley who were only relegated from the top flight last season.

Manager Trevor Storton said: "It will be a hard game. Some anxiety is creeping in now because this is the highest position the club has been in since it reformed."

Following Wednesday's 3-2 win over Congleton Town Storton has doubts over striker Jason Maxwell (hamstring) and defender Neil Bagshaw (groin). Mark Hancock is suspended but utility man Dave Blair returned to action against Congleton after a four-month lay off.

In the same division seventh-placed Farsley Celtic travel to Stocksbridge PS. Centre back Lee Connor returns from a one-match ban but skipper Steve Learoyd is doubtful with a back injury and midfielder Matty Flynn is out with a broken hand.

The only one of the three local Northern Counties East Premier Division teams to have home advantage is Eccleshill United. They should have Mark Senior back from a facial injury for the visit of Garforth Town.

Relegation-threatened Thack-ley make the trip to Doncaster to tackle Brodsworth MW.

Liversedge make the short journey to Castleford to face Glasshoughton Welfare.

Midfielder James Glover is suspended and Craig Lawford's knee injury broke down in a reserve team game this week. They both miss and wing back Paul Sweeney is rated very doubtful with a back injury.
