A CALL for a footbridge over the Addingham bypass has fallen on deaf ears as far as Government funding is concerned. A letter from the Highways Agency to parish councillors says that although many footpaths cross the busy road, there had been no reports of pedestrian problems. However, officials have promised to monitor the situation and provide action if problems started to occur.
