Cougar Cubs travelled to league-winners Clayton for their last match of the season and despite some stunning individual performances went down 32-14.
Clayton were very powerful in attack and defence and the Cubs couldn't stop them running in six tries. In reply the Cubs grabbed two tries from Keith Shackleton and Sam Walker. Kristian Stell made the conversion.
Top performances came from Keith Shackleton, Kirk McWhirter, Lee Shaw, Kristian Stell, Peter Gower with James Sharples looking good and Jonathan Kosckuk put in one of his best games to date.
Keighley Town Under-14's beat Huddersfield YMCA 22-10 despite having only 12 players. Top scorer Daz Jackson scored three tries and man of the match Ben Cartledge added one with conversions from Cartledge (2) and Sean Hudson. The Town pack was on devastating form pushing the home team back.
