North Yorkshire police are clamping down on South Craven's underage drinkers.
Skipton's licensing officer Sergeant Kevin Wilson, who is launching the initiative throughout Craven, says the area does have a problem.
He adds: "We get petty crimes and damage caused - mostly disruptive behaviour.
"An awful lot of it is done by youngsters."
He believes alcohol fuels this behaviour.
Local youngsters have been recruited to make test purchases in pubs around the district.
Sgt. Wilson says: "If we have all the evidence required we will take them to court and licences will be revoked.
"We're letting people know this is going to happen. If they get caught out it's their fault."
