Thousands of good luck messages are flooding into Bradford as the city anxiously awaits tomorrow's make or break Premiership survival battle against Liverpool at Valley Parade.

As the city holds its breath, wellwishers from all four corners of the world are willing Bradford City to beat the drop from the Premier League.

Even soccer pundit Rodney Marsh, who at the start of the season said Bradford City had no chance of survival, says he will be cheering on City in their relegation decider.

But not all Bantam's fans will be in Bradford chewing their nails - many will be in the far flung corners of the globe.

Bantams fan Steve Unwin, who moved to South Africa in 1978, will be watching the match on Satellite TV with a barbeque in the Cape Town sun.

Steve, originally from Denholme, loves City so much he named his textile company Parade Fabrics after the club's ground.

He has turned his company HQ into a shrine to Bradford City and even named the building Valley Parade.

He said: "We're incredibly excited. The number of people we've had phone us in South Africa saying they hope we stay up is unbelievable. Everybody knows we're Bradford fans and we've converted quite a lot of people too."

Two of Steve's converts, South Africans Jeremie Malawicki, 38, and Mark Bownes, have travelled thousands of miles to Bradford to see the match.

The two are pictured above with their hosts Robert and Damien Stevenson, of Tyersal.

Jeremie said: "I'm happy to come all this way to see Bradford play. Steve converted me into a Bradford fan and I just really want to see them stay up."
