There was a real ding-dong finish to the Under-12's event in the Lothersdale Fell race when Cowling's Caleb Wetherell was edged out by just one second by Pendle's Jack Chew.

First girl was Keighley & Craven's Gill Harrison. First home in the other junior races were: U9s - Emma Thompson and Kyle Rogan. U14s - Jack Weeden, of Silsden, and Francesca Coulthread, Cowling. Under-17's - Martin Hounslow and Nicola Leng.

Races coming up in the Summer Grand Prix include: Wednesday June 7 White Lion, Kildwick (6.30 juniors, 7.30 seniors) Sunday June 11 Cracoe (from 12.00) Wednesday July 5 Stirton with Thorlby (6.30 juniors, 7.30 seniors) Prominent in K&C's road championship series is the Full Bront, the five mile race around Haworth on Thursday, June 15. Incorporated in the race is the Yorkshire Veterans five mile championship.
