THREE clubs are fighting for the only honour left to be decided in the Craven League -- the destination of runners-up spot in Division Two.

Silsden FC hold the key with they matches left, but they need to win them all. They clinched a 5-0 victory over Skipton LMS Reserves on Friday and followed up with an 8-0 victory over Gargrave on Saturday. They must now beat Bronte Wanderers, Barnoldswick United and Barrowford to secure the runners-up place.

Bronte Wanderers Reserves took second place in Division Three when they defeated Carleton Reserves 2-0 on Monday evening. They now have 37 points and cannot be overtaken after Bradley's brave effort faded out when they lost 4-1 at Waddington.

Oxenhope Recreation saw their hopes of runners-up place in the Premier division fade when they lost 4-0 to arch-rivals Skipton Bulldogs. Cross Hills were waiting in the wings ready to pounce and happy to take second place.

Oxenhope Recreation still have a chance of honours this season when they reached the final of the Northern Plant Hire Challenge Trophy, beating holders Silsden 3-1 in the semi-final on Monday night.

They now Meet Embsay in the final at Gargrave on Monday May 15.
