Nutritionist Rosie Denison looks set to get international recognition after winning a place on a top cruise speaking to hundreds of the catering and hospitality industry's top executives.

Rosie, owner of Yeadon-based business Salubris Nutrition, is a nutrition consultant who advises employers and caterers on nutritional issues through seminars and workshops.

She sought help from Business Link Leeds when she discovered her offer to speak on the P&O ship Oriana had been accepted. She will present seminars called 'Menu Planning For Health' with Dr Janet Cade, a senior lecturer in Nutrition & Epidemiology at the University of Leeds's Nuffield Institute & Department of Public Health.

Rosie said: "You only get a chance like this once, so I was keen to get some professional advice on how I should go about maximising the business opportunity.

"One of the Business Link Leeds advisors, Ellis Pitt, has been a great help and has acted as my mentor. Together we've been through everything from my leaflets and handouts, researching the audience and planning the presentation. It's been excellent to have impartial business advice so I can make the most from this opportunity."

The seminars will examine the Government's request for food providers to consider the 'Health of Our Nation' and will demonstrate how the initiative can offer many new business opportunities.

Their interactive workshops will cover restaurants, the workplace, schools and the Armed Forces.
