Animals are stripped to the bone by artist Tilly Downs in the latest exhibition at Cliffe Castle.
The Keighley museum hosts the display of skeletons and skeleton drawings until September 1.
Bradford-born Tilly, 24, graduated from Edinburgh College of Art two years ago and is currently studying printmaking at the Royal College of Art.
Her work has been exhibited at UK galleries including the Royal College of Art, the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh and Cartwright Hall in Bradford.
The pictures on show at Cliffe Castle, finished during the past two years, are analytical drawings in charcoal pencil together with drawings of live animals.
The drawings and accompanying sketch books show some of Tilly's thought processes concerning her ongoing investigation into living things.
She found her subjects at the Natural History Museum in London, Edinburgh Zoo and the Royal Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
Cliffe Castle is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays (10am-5pm) and Sundays (noon-5pm).
