Pudsey Congs continue to forge ahead at the top of Division One.

Their latest win was by ten wickets at Brighouse.

Pace bowler Kevin Tighe took five for 34 as Brighouse were bowled out for 84, and openers Philip Allison and Andre Stolarski knocked off the runs in 19.2 overs with Allison scoring 50 and Stolarski 32.

Baildon lost ground when they were beaten by 36 runs at home to Hanging Heaton.

The visitors were indebted to No 3 batsman Mark Oldroyd who came in when they had lost their first wicket at nine.

He was still there at the end, having scored 74 out of a modest total of 153 for five.

Baildon struggled from the start and found there was no way back after losing four wickets for 13 runs in the middle order as they were bowled out for 117.

Bradford & Bingley's five-match winning run came to an end at Pudsey St Lawrence where they were beaten by 68 runs.

The match was a personal triumph for Robert Jarvis.

He was top scorer with 87 out of Pudsey's total of 220 for eight and then took five for 46 in 16.5 overs as Bingley were bowled out for 152, although the visitors came within seven balls of earning a one-point draw.

Bingley's most successful bowler was off spinner Robert Walker with five for 44 in 15 overs.

Yorkshire Bank could field only seven players for their match at East Bierley and lost by ten wickets, the whole match lasting 37 overs.

Richard Patrick took five of the six Bank wickets to fall for 62 and opening batsmen Mark Wilson (28) and Andrew Dewhirst (37) did the rest.

Opener Steve Simpson was top scorer of the day with 128 not out as Farsley won at Windhill by a massive 204 runs.

Simpson and Qulzam Mahmood (89) put on 130 for the third wicket as Farsley scored 269 for seven. They then bowled out Windhill for a mere 65 with Adam Walker taking five for 22 and Danny Wallis, five for 43.

Cleckheaton won at Yeadon by 53 runs. The foundations of their all-out score of 168 were laid in an opening partnership of 92 between top scorer Russell Noble who made 53 and Chris Jackson who hit 40 as Les Wood took six wickets.

Yeadon were dismissed for 115.

Division Two leaders Gomersal maintained their unbeaten record with a seven-wicket home win over Manningham Mills after dismissing the home side for 118.

Other winners in Division Two were Great Horton by eight wickets at home to Morley, Saltaire by nine wickets at Hartshead Moor, Keighley by 103 runs at home to Esholt, Lightcliffe by seven wickets away to Salts, Undercliffe by one wicket at home to nine-man Bankfoot and Spen Victoria by 146 runs at ten-man Bowling Old Lane.
