Fundraising can be murder -- just ask Manorlands. The Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice is staging a murder mystery Christmas party to give a vital boost to its coffers. Theatrical company Dial M will perform a 1920s whodunnit while diners enjoy a three-course festive meal. The dinner will be followed by a disco.
The cancer-care home is appealing for businesses and individuals to support the event at the Hanover International Hotel, Skipton, on November 18 (7.30pm). Tickets for the Christmas party are £25, with discounts for large groups. For further information contact Manorlands on 01535 642308.
Santa is paying an early visit to Manor-lands. He will be a guest at the hospice's Christmas Fair tomorrow. New attractions include craft and dried flower arrangements from the hospice's new craft group. The free fair, in Manorlands' Woodhouse Gate Conference Centre, is from 11am-4pm.
