Keighley's Balti House restaurant has raised £1,200 for three different charities on its first-ever fundraising night.
Takings from the evening of October 23 were donated and a raffle held.
Several customers who could not attend sent donations by post.
Manager Zamir Mohammed says: "There was quite tremendous support from people. If they keep responding we will do it again."
The money was equally split between the Airedale Cancer Support Group, British Epilepsy Association and Branshaw Special School.
Janet Hale of the Airedale Cancer Support Group collected the cheque and said: "It's nice that local businesses are getting involved."
The money, she says, will go towards the Airedale Hospital cancer unit's next major appeal -- for a drop-in centre for patients.
Zamir Mohammed, Airedale Cancer Support Group chairman Ian Hutchinson and Janet Hale are pictured with the cheque for the total amount raised on the night.
