SATURDAY'S victory was the first for Guiseley since Neil Parsley took over the reins.

He was encouraged by his team's performance and said he was hoping to have a new signing in place in time for Saturday's game at Winsford.

"I expect to have a new signing in place for Saturday, but that's all I can say about it so far.

"James Nettleton is close to fitness, as is Colin Hogarth, and Paul Bulgin will be free from suspension from next Monday.

"This will give me a few new options across the team and I will be trying to make some new signings."

Parsley hopes the upturn in fortunes will continue this weekend and added that the run-up to Christmas was very important for Guiseley.

"I expect to win at Winsford. I expect to win every game, but we won't win every game.

"There are certain things in place for us in every game. We can get results, monsoons permitting. If we can gain a few more results like that before Christmas, I will be delighted.

"Then, when we get a few more points in the bag, then I will be judged by my directors, the supporters and the players.

"Until then, I just want to get some more good results and some more points," he added.

Parsley said he hoped everyone who had been at Saturday's cup tie had been encouraged by the win.

"It was very important, I was just pleased to get my first win."
