Bradford Salem are prepared to bale out neighbours Bradford & Bingley following the flood damage they suffered to Wagon Lane.

They have offered Bees the use of their Shay Lane ground for training every Monday and Wednesday until their own ground is back in action.

"It was the least we could do when we heard that the River Aire had burst its banks and flooded their clubhouse, dressing rooms and pitches," said Salem official Neil Klenk.

Bees coach Matt Greenwood said: "This is a tremendous gesture and we will be looking to take advantage of it. Our ground is a mess right now and we desperately need to train outside.

"At the moment just finding places to train is a logistical nightmare. We were offered the chance to go to Leeds and train under the guidance of Phil Davies last Monday but the weather ruled that out.

"Normally we train Tuesday and Thursdays but we are now having to try and change that routine but that requires people to alter their work arrangements and that isn't easy."

Tomorrow Bees take their unbeaten five-match run to Driffield with Greenwood insisting that there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Greenwood and his men believe they have been under-achieving and are desperate to improve on their record of four wins from seven North Division One games.

"We just don't seem to be able to focus for the entire 80 minutes. As a side we are aware that we have plenty of potential but we haven't fully realised it so far," Greenwood said.

The inability to concentrate for the full game was illustrated in last Saturday's NPI Cup win at Beverley. Bees were leading 31-6 midway through the second half but allowed their opponents to get back to 31-25.

Wharfedale welcome back last year's leading try scorer Andy Hodgson for their National League One match at Esher.

Hodgson has just recovered from the broken leg he sustained while playing for Yorkshire earlier this year. His return offsets the absence of stand-off David Pears - the former England international.

Cleckheaton will be hoping to make it eight wins from eight starts in Yorkshire Division One when they visit Selby.

John Bentley's men showed their quality when crushing Old Leodiensians 61-3 in the NPI Cup last week.

At the other end of the table Keighley face a tough test at Wheatley Hills. Peter Lee-Gallon is back at centre after injury and Richard Emmott continues in place of Tony Fella who is playing for Italy in Rugby League's Emerging Nations World Cup. Second row Peter Southgate is also fit to return.

Bradford Salem welcome back full back Joe Simpson and centre Steve Brown for their Yorkshire Two match at Hemsworth.

They moved up a position without playing last week and hope to continue the upward momentum.

Baildon will be looking to continue their revival in Yorkshire Division Four when they visit Edlington Granby. Top points scorer Dave Wilde is an absentee.
