Keighley MP Ann Cryer has given her backing to an Oxfam campaign for universal primary education.
She was among the guests at a Brazilian cinema evening staged as part of the charity's Education Now campaign. More than 130 people attended the event, at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford.
Following introductory talks by Mrs Cryer and an Oxfam representative, a short film was shown outlining the need for primary education worldwide.
Food - including a selection of South American snacks - was provided in the cinema bar by Bradford's Fair Trade Caf.
