Bradford Bulls are already cashing in on their move to Valley Parade.

Season ticket sales are ahead of target and the club have already netted £35,000 from selling all their 26 player sponsorships in record time.

Chairman Chris Caisley is delighted with the response from both fans and businesses to the switch of grounds while Odsal is prepared for re-development.

He believes that the move to Valley Parade and the acquisition of top overseas players have combined to create a 'feel-good' factor'.

"The superb facilities at Valley Parade are certainly having an impact," he said. "The trend so far is very encouraging and shows that people want to watch a top team in a fine stadium.

"Every fan can be assured that whatever the weather they will be under cover and accommodated in a comfortable seat.

"At Odsal many of our supporters were standing, and even though we are playing a summer game the weather hasn't always been dry.

"Sponsors know that they will be able to entertain their clients in excellent surroundings and that should prepare them for when we move to the new Odsal."

The club's signings policy is also cited by Caisley as a reason for the strong interest in the new season.

"Snapping up New Zealand star Joe Vagana captured the imagination of the fans and sparked further interest in tickets," he said.

"I am sure the supporters will be equally impressed with our other acquisitions Daniel Gartner, Shane Rigon and Lee Gilmour."
