A famous beast has been given pride of place at a Sandbeds pub which bears its name.
The recently-refurbished Airedale Heifer pub now has a picture of the legendary creature on display.
Landlord Tom McKenzie commissioned the replica print of the heifer to provide a focal point at his Bradford Road hostelry, which reopened on December 4 following major refurbishment.
He had found an 1830 painting of the heifer - a creature which weighed in at more than one and a quarter tons and was 11 feet long - at nearby East Riddlesden Hall.
The hall's house steward, Mike Freeman, helped Tom gain permission for a print to be produced.
Mr Freeman says: "The heifer was a big celebrity in the Keighley area in the early 1800s and people used to come from miles away to see it.
