It may be metal but it won't be monstrously loud - that's the promise from Demonix as they play their Christmas show.
The band, pictured above, plays the Victoria Hotel next Friday from 8pm with support from doom metal outfit Angel Dragons.
Demonix musician Mick Walsh promises "a real party atmosphere rather than a night of out-and-out noise" at the Cavendish Street pub.
There'll be covers by Metallica, Slayer, Pro-pain and Bloodhound Gang as well as original Demonix ditties.
The band, which grew out of the now-defunct Mannix, aims to end its first year with its fourth gig.
Next year will see a return to Bradford Rio after a successful debut, and more regular performing around the region.
"It's been a nice start off. Hopefully we'll change gears and get around a bit more," says Mick.
