Paul Robinson and James Greiner have been awarded karate black belts.
Paul, a 37-year-old driving intructor, could not manage five press-ups when he started taking private lessons with Mo Illyas at the Karate Shop five years ago.
"I can't believe I have made it to black belt," he said.
Fifteen-year-old James picked up his black belt with the highest marks during the grading session. He has already on the British SKU Open championship and the Premier SKU Open together with club competitions at kata and fighting.
They are both members of the Bismillah Club which trains at the Roy Illingworth Rooms in West Lane keighley on Monday and Wednesday and at Haworth Methodist Church on Tuexday and Thursday evenings.

Under-10 kata: 1 matthew Whitaker, 2 Neelam Ilyas, 3 Akhul Khan. 10-14 kata: 1 Khuram Ilyas, 2 Yasser Hussain, 3 Sam Greiner.
