Bradford businesses have been asked to help put the city on the international movie map.
The Yorkshire Screen Commission wants local firms to support its bid to attend next year's Global Expo Trade Show in Los Angeles.
It hopes to entice some of Hollywood's biggest movie moguls in to make more hit films such as The Full Monty, Brassed Off, and Little Voice, in Yorkshire.
Commission marketing officer, Ben Gilder, said: "We are looking for sponsorship to get us over there so we can show them what we have got to offer. Bringing productions to Yorkshire beings massive economic benefits for the area."
"Warner Bros. filmed a Gwyneth Paltrow film called Possession in Yorkshire and that brought about £2million into the local economy.
"We've got amazing historical locations and buildings that have been used to film movies like Elizabeth and could be used for so much more."
Mr Gilder said that the commission, which is a non-profit making organisation, needed to raise about £3,000 to attend the exposition in February.
Since it was founded in 1993 the organisation has been widely praised as the most successful screen commission outside London.
It has helped to attract more than £50million to the region through film and TV production.
Representatives of any businesses which would like to sponsor the commission can contact Ben Gilder on (0114) 279 9115.
