Keighley's new coach Tim Brunskill, noted for his positive thinking, will need all those qualities tomorrow.

Next-to-bottom Keighley face runaway Yorkshire Divi-sion One leaders Cleckheaton.

Brunskill, who replaced Martin Whitcombe before Christmas, says: "We aim to knock them out of their stride . . . not let them settle."

Keighley may have only won two league matches so far this campaign, but in defeating fifth-placed Pontefract at Rose Cottage on December 16 and in going down 9-0 last weekend at second-placed Wheatley Hills they have shown the kind of spirit they will need.

The hosts are without skipper Simon Atkin (injured) and fly halves Danny McGee, who has returned to Leeds Academy after his loan spell, and Johnny harrison (groin), who will soon be fit.

Matt Gaffney is at fly half, Kevin Young is on the wing, and Alex Bennett moves up from No 8 to the second row, Chris Weatherill returning to the back row.

Cleckheaton rest first-choice prop Sam Coy, but have Graham Steadman back at fly half and hand a league debut to Daz Fletcher, a Wakefield recruit who impressed for the second team last weekend.

Ricky Hunter, who had some 20 stitches (half inside, half out) in a cut on top of his head last weekend, is moved from flanker to prop, but must be a doubt. Matt Terry replaces him in the back row, and Warren Stephenson could well step in to the front row.

Otley lost 37-12 at National League One leaders Worcester on November 19, but they won the second half 9-0! "Worcester won't like coming to our smaller pitch," said Otley's secretary Marc Lawrence.

Otley, who had a vital 23-20 victory at Orrell last weekend, drop lock Peter Curtis (bang on the nose) to the bench. His place goes to ian carroll, so effective in replacing him. Prop Adam Pogson gets a deserved chance.

Wharfedale have No 8 Russ Buckroyd and former England fly half David Pears back from injury for their National League Two home game against Rugby - a match the Dalesmen must not lose.

The Bees have a tough task if they wish to bounce back from their Intermediate Cup defeat at Lymm. They are at Chester in North Division One.
