Clive and Rose Lee are coming home after a lifetime running pubs around the district.
The couple, who were both brought up in Steeton, are new 'mine hosts' at the White Bear at Eastburn and are delighted to be back on home ground.
"I was actually born in Eastburn, at 7 Moor Lane and we later moved just down the road to Steeton. It's great to have got this pub because my mum and dad, Jack and Maria Sellars, did all their courting here," Rose said.
Together with Clive she attended the village primary school and they both attended South Craven school. Rose has worked in the catering industry all her working life and now lectures on food hygiene.
"We have run a good number of pubs including city centre establishments and the White Bull at Gisburn, and we're still running the Westfield at Wyke. We want to make the White Bear a real community pub with a bit of entertainment and good food - that's my thing.
"It's superb to be back near our family and friends." Rose said.
