Several people needed hospital treatment following an accident in Skipton Road, Keighley, on Sunday afternoon.
The crash -- which led to the road being closed -- involved three vehicles, including an ambulance.
Police say the accident happened when a van crossed the carriageway and collided with the ambulance and a Vauxhall Cavalier travelling in the opposite direction.
Two paramedics from the ambulance, three people from the van and two from the car were taken to Airedale Hospital. None of the injuries was life threatening.
The ambulance was en route to the hospital with a woman -- in her 40s -- suffering from a medical complaint. She was not injured.
Of the two men in the car, one received head injuries and the other whiplash.
A driver is to appear at Bingley court next week on charges relating to the incident.
