Silsden move into the next round of the New Bridge Garage Senior Cup after a close scare from Royal Hotel.

Royal at one point found themselves 5-1 down but then they showed a fighting spirit and the revival started. They pulled the game to a final score of 6-4 with Mick Ward and Adam Whiteoak leading the way for Silsden with two each and one each from Damion Whiteoak and Jimmy Kristian. Replying for Royal was Spencer Harrison with an excellent hat trick and Nick Fewell added the other.

The other game in the cup saw Keighley Juniors playing host to Victoria 2000. Juniors had a lead of four from the first leg and when Gavin Finn gave them the lead it looked all over but Victoria came back and were soon level as Peter Dobbs hit home for them. But by half-time Juniors were in control and lead by 5-1.

In the second half Victoria had no answer to the Juniors who netted another five without reply. Finn lead the way with a total of five in the game followed by Howard Wellwood who scored four and Matthew Bland scored the other in a convincing win, sending them into the next round.

In the New Bridge Sunday Cup Baildon New Inn beat JPL in style. It started even in bad conditions but New Inn settled better and JPL could not find an answer to Baildon who were too strong on the day. Mark Tate hit three with John Brear netting twice and a single from Garth Wilkinson settled the game as New Inn ran out 6-1 winners.

In the Premier Division, Stanbury Park Rangers regain the top spot after winning at home to basement side Regent Victoria. The pitch was heavy and Regent got stuck in but struggled to make and take chances against a side who have not lost in the league this term. Stanbury dominated and controlled the game and ran out easy winners by a massive 16-1. David Bainbridge scored four, Mick Thompson and Simon Waddington both scored a hat trick, Simon Thompson and Neil Rollins both hit two and one each from Rob Andrew and Craig Labbett finished the rout.

In the First Division Woodend go level with the leaders but are second on goal difference after winning away at Malt Shovel. Malt Shovel put up a fight but could not get on top. Dave W Gatenby levelled the game at 1-1 but Woodend took control and it was catch up football for Malt. Michael Maylon, Paul Woolley and Shazad Ali added Shovels other goals.

New Inn Windhill recorded their biggest win of the season after winning by 17-0 against basement side Oddfellows 2000 who were under strength with ten men. Man of the match was New Inn's Andrew Howland who knocked in eight goals and Richard Scanlon and Wayne Birdsall both netted twice. Mark Green, Simon Walton, Danny Sanders, Richard Mann and Emad Zeitious all got one each, finishing off the rout and a big win for New Inn Windhill.
