Skipton are looking to recover from a disappointment last weekend as they take on a key league encounter in the shape of a trip to Heath.

The Halifax side are one of the two sides to beat them in Yorkshire One this season and remain in the title chase.

After the setback at Hoylake, motivation should not be a problem for a group of players who know that they did not produce their best last weekend and wasted the chance of a lifetime as a result.

Whatever happens in terms of footballing ability, therefore, there should be no shortfall in the commitment department.

Skipton keep faith with the same pack which played last weekend, but make a couple of changes in the backs. Darren Howson reverts to fly-half from centre and Paul Lacy moves from centre to wing for Anthony Hill. Andrew Porter and Matt Jones form a new centre pairing, with Adam Oldfield joining Robbie King and Bon Birks on the bench.

North Ribblesdale are in buoyant mood after another good win as they prepare to entertain Pocklington in Yorkshire One. Their win over Old Brodleians last weekend extended a very tasty run of form for the Grove Park men and they are now looking to consolidate their mid-table place.

The Settle men are forced to make changes to the side which won last Saturday. Flanker Ryan Kirkbride is unavailable because of Rotherham Academy commitments, Willie Garth taking over, but front-row problems should be sorted out.

Behind the scrum, Stuart Evans looks set to take over from unavailable Neil Gemmell at scrum-half, with Jonathan Richards coming in at centre and John Hughes standing by if Sean Kennedy is not fully recovered from a knock received against Brods.
